This visa allows foreign companies that have businesses in the United States to transfer staff from overseas offices to work in their United States offices. It also allows those United States companies with offices overseas to bring in foreign nationals to work for them. L-1 non-immigrant visas are also available for the foreign employees of international accounting firms or coming to work for a United States branch or affiliate regardless of the relationship between them.
L-2 Visa
This visa is for the immediate family of the holder of an L-1 visa. Employment is not allowed.
